LADIES’ GOLF

RESULTS OF GAMES PLAYED DRAW FOR SATURDAY The following are the four best scores in a match 'played by the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Club for Mrs Ripley’s trophy:—'Mrs Ripley, 88-14-74;; Mrs Shaw, 93-I's-78; Mrs Kidd, 109-3'l-78; Mrs Nield, 102-23-79. Mrs Kidd won from Mrs Shaw on the count-back. The matches played for the L.G.U. medal round and the third round of the Rose Bowl resulted: —Mrs Lewis, 94-24-70; Mrs Bain, 89-19-70; Mrs Oliphant, 100-29-71; Miss. Gibb, 86-11-7'5; Mrs Kidd, 107-31-76. Mrs Lewis won the D.G.U. medal on the count-back from Mrs Bain. The four best scores in the match for Mrs Hubbard’s trophy were:— Mrs Ripley, 87-I'4-73; Mrs Nield, 97-23-74; Mrs Shaw, 91-15-76; Mrs Lewis, 101-214-77. On Saturday the final of the Rose Bowl and an L.G.U. medal round will be played, the draw being as under: — Mrs Ripley v. Miss Gibb; Mrs Jones v. Mrs Bain; Mrs Carroll v. Mrs Nield; Mrs McAnally v. Mrs Lewis; Mrs Oliphant v. Mrs Jennings; Mrs Kidd v. Mrs Shaw; Mrs E. Fathers v. Miss Buchanan; Mrs Morgan and Mrs Thorp. C grade: Mrs -Sarjant v. Miss Kidd, Miss Darlow v. Miss Stewart, Miss Westlake v. Miss Sanderson, Miss Silcock v. Miss Murphy.
