“THE KIWIS”

FIRST VISIT TO PAEROA SOLD TER ENTERTAINERS Residents- of Thames and Paeroa will be pleased to learn that the famous troupe of ex-soldier entertainers 1 , “The Kiwis” are to play at Thames on Saturday and Monday nights next and at IPaeroa on Tuesday. At Paeroa “Maadi iGras” which has been packing Auckland Theatre, “His Majesty’s,” is to be presented but at Thames a change will be made on Monday to “Demand Performance.” Both shows are quick-fire non-stop comedy hits and every theatre the “Kiwis” have appeared in- has been too small to hold- the crowds which have sought admission. At Morrins-ville last week the complete seating of the Strand Theatre was sold out between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the day the plans were opened. If Thames and Paeroa are not sold out before the company arrives it will be a new experience for the “Kiwis.” Box plans for Thames are open at Brokenshire’s and at Paeroa reservations are being taken at the Regent Theatre.
