EXPLANATION AT NGATEA AUCKLAND iPROVINCE JOINS At the annual meeting of the Ngatea branch of the Farmers’ Union, the president, 'Mr R. ’E. Tye, dealt with the negotiations to date regarding the Farmers’ Federation. Some people, he said, were continually! saying that the Auckland Province of the Farmers’ Union was not in the Federation. » “We are just as much in the federation as anyone and dairy farmers of the union will become members of the dairy 'section when details have been finalised.” Auckland delegates will confer with the Provincial Council of Federated Farmers during July at Wellington, which is the month for the Dominion conference of the Farmers’ Union. The Auckland Province has already paid l £5OO. into the federation for its members.
