NGATEA BRANCH OF UNION
■OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED
The annual meeting of the Ngatea branch of the New Zealand Farmers’
Union was held recently, there being a good attendance of members.
The president, (Mr R. E. Tye, expressed pleasure at seeing so good a gathering, which was' an indication of their continued support and interest in their industry. The presence of a county councillor was an additional pleasure and assistance to the meeting as farmers’ interests are interwoven in local as well as national and international matters.
The following officers were elected: —(President, Mr R. E. Tye; secretary, Mr A. Waite; vice-presidents, Messrs Gardner and A. Leonard; committee, Messrs iP. Leonard, Hunt, Jones, Schultz, H. Dalgety and 'Constantine; delegates l to sub-provincial, Messrs R. E. Tye, Schultz and A. Waite. The meeting closed with a> vote of thanks to the chair and secretary.
