WAITAKARUJRU SCHOOL SHOW FUNCTION AT BREAK-UP On the last Friday in the school year the children of the Waitakaruru School held a flower show in the infant room, which had’ been decorated in a seasonable manner by the infant mistress, Mrs N. Smart. Mrs J. Pacey kindly acted as judge and expressed her pleasure in the ’display, especially as the recent boisterous weather conditions had l been detrimental to flowers. She paid particular compliment to the primer classes with their entries of button holes and decorated saucers.

An excellent afternoon tea was served. Detailed results: — ■
