Sympathy with Mr A. S. Curtis in his illness with all best wishes for a speedy recovery was passed by members at the November meeting of the Thames District Council of Primary Production. Pte. A. White, who has served overseas in the infantry for four years recently returned to Whitianga. He was mentioned in despatches. He is the only son of Mr and Mrs Alex. ' White.
