MILITARY WEDDING
NEEDHAM—DOB|S ON BRIDE TN EMBOSSED SATIN The wedding took place recently at St. Thomas’ Church, Union (Street, Auckland, of Miss Josephine Thamer Dobson, only daughter of Mi* J. Dobson of Turua, to Pte. Henry Lloyd of Turua, to private Henry Lloyd Needham, Second N.Z.E.F. (on furlough from the Pacific), only son of Mrs I. 'C. Needham, 44 Fairview road, Mt. Eden. The Rev. D. Stewart Millar, assisted by the Rev. J. C. Guinness, officiated. The bride, who was given awdy by her father, wore a magnolia embossed satin gown with a full train. Her tulle veil, which formed a second train, was held to her head with a spray of roses, hyacinths and sweet peas, and she carried a matching sheaf. She was attended by Mrs Jeanne Goulding, sister of the bridegroom, and her cousin, Mrs Phyllis Schultz, who wore frocks of green taffeta trimmed 1 with green net. In their hair they wore sprays of daffodils, primroses and freesias and they carried matching sheafs. The best man, iPte. R. C. A. Peters CSecond N.Z.EjF., on furlough from the (Pacific), ’and the groomsman, was Pte. Kiwi Howe, 'Second N.Z.EjF., (on furlough from the Middle East) 1 . The reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s mother.
