MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MATCH NEXT SATURDAY A meeting of the management committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held on Monday night, the chairman, Mr D. G. McMillan, presiding. Others present were Messrs G. Masters, W. F. F. Faber, J. J. Hill, T. Henderson, IG. Elvidge, J. Verran, R. L. Darley, C. H. Pascoe and the secretary, Mr W. Strong. Mr R. Greenslade from the Paeroa District High iSchool waited on the union to finalise matters connected with the Fleming 'Shield matches next Saturday. It was decided to endeavour to arrange a game with the Veterans at Paeroa next Saturday, the match to start at 2.30 p.m. The curtainraiser will ibe a match between High School and Thirds. THIRD-GRADE TEAM MATCH WITH HIGH SCHOOL The following third-grade team will represent the Paeroa Rugby Union in a match against High School on the Paeroa Domain on Saturday:— R. Jessen; E. Carlton, Flemming, W. Harrison; R. Adams, R. Milne; A. Pearson; A. Finlay, B. Masters, P. Fathers, L. Handley, K. Barrett, G. Jane, R. Neil, <S. Wheeler. Emergencies.—M. Mete, K. Handley, 0. Potter, Queripil. The match will commence at 1.15 p.m. PEACE CUP RETAINED OTOROHANGA defeated The holders, Maniapoto, defeated Otorohanga in the second challenge for the Peace Cup on Saturday, by 19—6.
