Public Notice HAURAKI U N I TED DRAINAGE BOARD Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 54-of “The Rating Act, 1925” that it is the intention of the Hauraki United Drainage Board, at its next meeting to be held on Thursday, the 17th. of August, 1944, at the Board’s Office, Dairy Company Premises, Turua, at 10.30 a.m., to make and levy under Section 31 of the “Land Drainage Act 1908” and Sections, 3 and 4 of the “Land Drainage Amendment Act 1913,” a General Rate upon the Unimproved value and upon a graduated scale, according to the classification of all the lands within the Hauraki United Drainage District in the following proportions and Rates:— Upon all lands classified “A” 34d in the Pound. Upon all lands classified “B” l|d in the Pound. All the above Rates to be foxthe period commencing on the Ist. day of April 1044 and ending on the 31st. day of March, 1945, and payable to the Clerk to the Board on the 22nd. day of September, 1944, at the Board’s Office, Turua. A rebate of 2/ per cent, will be allowed off the amount of the total Rates paid within 30 days, of due date. .The Rate Books and Rating Rolls are open for inspection at the Office of the Board during Office hours.
