HOUSING OFFER
OLD BANK SECTION AREA IN GRAHAMSTOWN state buildings desired Further sections in Thames had been offered to the Housing Department for the building of State houses, the Borough Commissioner, Mr A. L. Burk, reported to the Thames Borough Advisory Committee recently. They include the old Bank of New Zealand .section in Grahamstown and a. small section in Mackay Street, which will complete the housing m that, block. The Grahamstown sections were very much better than some which had previously, been offered for State housing. said Or. D. Ganley. They were good sections, receiving- the sun all day long and being dry. The ('ommissioner said the Borough would definitely battle along for housing on the Grahamstown sections.
