Public Notices (JOUNTY OF COROMANDEL ELECTION OF ONE MEMBER OF THE THAMES HOSPITAL BOARD Pursuant to the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act,; 1926, and the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925 and the Local Elections and Tolls Act Amendment 1944 and any other Acts or Amendments thereto respectively, I hereby give notice that the following persons' have been nominated as Candidates for the office' of representative for the County of Coromandel: — Allen Hood BENHAM William HAMILTON Hugh William HOWELL Myrtle LYNNE AND, there being only,One vacancy to be filled, a Poll will be taken as between the said Candidates on Saturday the 27th. day of May, 1944, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the following polling places:— Coromandel Courthouse. Colville Memorial Hall Kennedy’s Bay, the Hall. Port Jackson, The Coastguards’ Hut. Port Charles, Mr A. R. Beatson’s residence. Kereta, Mr P. Russek’s residence. Tererenga, Mr H. M. Hawkeswood’s residence. Kuaotunu, Library. Whitianga, Miss Lyon’s Shop, Main Street. Whenuakite, Schoolhouse. Ahimia, The Hall. Amodeo, Mr R. Simmond’s . residence. Coroglen, The Hall.
