Grounds At Coromandel The state of the hospital grounds at Coromandel had been the subject of favourable comment made to him, said Mr W. J. Danby at the'May meeting of the Thames' Hospital Board. Other members also- expressed the view that the grounds were a credit to the institution. Council Meets
The May meeting of the Coromandel County Council was held in. Coromandel on Wednesday, May 10, the chairman, Mr C. C. Rae, presiding. Others present were Crs A. Watkins, J. G. Strongman, H. C. (Bull, E. M. Minifie, C. S. A. :Geard, A. J. Denize, T. E. Simpson and J. E(. Jackson. Also in attendance were the clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas and engineer, <Mr A. H. Benham.
Mercury Bay Popular Accommodation is fully- taxed at Mercury Bay for the holidays and quite a number of visitors have arrived. The fishing is quite good.
