ODDFELLOWS MEET

LOYAL HAURAKI LODGE MEMBER WELCOMED BACK The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Hauraki Lodge was held on Monday, May, 8, the N.G., Sis. M. Keyte presiding over a good attendance of members'. The sick visitors’ reports proved satisfactory. Advice was received from the District Grand Master accepting the invitation to be present at this lodge s 49th. anniversary on .September 30. (Following a report from the secretary a discussion ensued with regard to the medical service in relation to the change of doctors. It was finally decided to let the matter rest pending further information which will be forthcoming any time and in the meantime to hold on to the Social Security cards.

A hearty welcome was accorded Bro. Fred Dick who had just returned from the Islands. Bro. Dick suitably replied.

The lodge prayer was read and the meeting closed after which a tasty supper was served.
