STOP TO BE MADE AT NGATEA ADDRESS AT LOCAL SCHOOL Advice that their Excellencies, Sir Cyril and Lady Newall will make a short stop at Ngatea on their way to Thames on Tuesday, June 6 was announced at Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. It is suggested that the vice-regal party visit the Ngatea District High School and address the pupils together with pupils from primary schools in the vicinity.

Their Excellencies will be met on arrival by the chairman of the county Mr C. W. Parfitt, the headmaster of the Ngatea District High School, Mr E. J. Thomas and the county clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney. It is anticipated that the GovernorGeneral and Lady Newall will arrive in Ngatea at approximately 11 a.m. The chairman, Mr C. W. Parfitt invited the council to assist him in welcoming the party.
