CARTRIDGES FOR SHOOTING POSITION FOR COMING SEASON “The position in regarfi- to the shooting 'season this year is much more satisfactory than was anticipated,’ said the chairman, Mr J. McDonald, at a meeting of the South Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, when a letter was read from the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. W. E. Parry, stating that 340,000 shotgun cartridges would be made available for gameshooting this year, and that each acclimatisation society would receive an allocation.
