WEEKLY LUNCHEON
PAEROA ROTARY CLUB ADDRESS BY MR A. (GREENSLADE “ The usual weekly luncheon of the Rotary Club of Paeroa, was held in the cluib’s rooms on Wednesday, the president, Mr C. N. O’Neill presiding over a good attendance of members. Guests present were Messrs XL. Brown and E. Kahn. The speaker for the day was Mr' Arthur E. Greenslade, who spoke on Arctic and Antarctic travel. Mr Greenslade who lost his sight late in life gave a very, interesting address, quoting at length from books which he has read since he became blind. In proposing a vote of thanks to the speaker, Mr B. E. Veale said that the address had been particularly interesting. The motion was carrsed iby acclamation.
