Miss Joy Hinton of Auckland, spent Easter with her mother, Mrs Claude Hinton, School House, Waitakaruru.

Miss April Paton of the Teachers’ Training College, spent the Easter vacation with her parents, Mr and Mrs G. Paton, Canal road, Waitakaruru.

Miss Marion Simpson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Simpson, Post Office, Waitakaruru, is at present on furlough from the Government gardening scheme which is a part of the Land Army and is staying with her parents.

Miss Lorna Dick, Pipiroa road, Waitakaruru, spent the Easter holidays with her aunt, Mrs Mitchell, Castle street, Grey Lynn, Auckland. Miss Grace Boswell was the guest of Mrs Pacey, Waitakaruru during the week-end. She is now teaching in an Auckland school.

Mrs C. Callender, Ellerslie, was the guest of Mrs P. G. Pearce, Kerepeehi, for the Easter holidays. Miss J. Bartley, Auckland, spent Easter in Kerepeehi with her parents, •Mr and Mrs F. Bartley. Nurse P. Arnold, Auckland, is spending a fortnight in Kerepeehi with her sister, Mrs A. A. Jordan. Mrs Simpson, Karaka, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs J. E. Smith, Kerepeehi. Mrs H. Gavin, Kerepeehi and her daughter 'Pat and Kerry, spent Easter in Claudelands as the guests of Mr and Mrs Gavin Snr.

Mrs McKnight, Auckland, is visiting her daughter, Mrs K. D. Menzies, Kerepeehi. Mrs Marshall,. Auckland, spent the Easter holidays in Kerepeehi as the guest of Mrs G. McGowan. Mrs Hall, Auckland, spent Easter in Kerepeehi with her parents, Mr and Mrs 1 F. Bartley. Mrs D. A. Hayes and her small son are spending a holiday in Kerepeehi with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Thomson.

Mrs J- Rothall, Auckland, is visiting Kerepeehi and is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. E. Smith. Mrs H. Gwynne, who has been staying at Hotel Ngatea for the past two weeks, has returned to her home in Hamilton.

Miss R. Taylor, of Ngatea, spent Easter week-end at Pukekohe. Misses N. and D. Sherlock were visitors from Ngatea to Auckland for the Easier holidays.

Mrs B. J. Green, of Ngatea, spent the Easter vacation at Waihi Beach. Mrs L. O’Brien, of Ngatea, who has been visiting Devonport, has returned home.

Mrs M. Bush, was a Ngatea visitor to Auckland for the Easter weekend.

Mrs C. J. McCarthy, of Ngatea, spent the Easter holidays with relatives at Devonport.

Mrs Law, of Whakatane, was a recent guest of Mr and Mrs J. E. Bartley, Hotel Ngatea.
