Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen of this War. Allowance £5/5/- per week. Apply personally to any District Rehabilitation Officer. COUNTY OF QHINEMURI LOCAL ELECTIONS Under the provisions of the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act 1944 the residential franchise has been adopted for all County elections in addition to the usual ratepayer’s qualification. Any person desiring to be enrolled and possessing the necessary qualifications must complete enrolment form and forward same so as to reach the undersigned before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th.
