MEETING LAPSES
COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL ONLY FOUR MEMBERS PRESENT The Coromandel County Council meeting adjourned at 12.30 p.m. for lunch as usual on Wednesday, November 10, but at 1.30 p.m. the hour for recommencement of business the chairman and three other I i members only were present. As five is the smallest number to constitute a quorum the members waited and waited till 2 p.m., when the, position was exactly the same. The chairman thereupon declared the meeting lapsed for want of a quorum.
