VERCOE’S SALE IN PAEROA GOOD YARDING ON MONDAY At Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Co’s, sale held in Paeroa on Monday a good entry came forward with steady competition In all sections. Yearling heifers were penned in good numbe/s but showed an easing tendency owing to the lateness of the season. They ’quote:— Heavy boner cows, £4 12s 6d to £5 2s 6d; medium boner cows, £3 17s to £4 10s; yearling'Jersey heifers, £5 10s to £6; medium Jersey heifers, £4 17s 6d to £5 2s 6d; smaller Jersey heifers, £3 10s to £4 10s; m.c. steers, £3 to £5 2s; best dairy cows, in milk, £lO 10s to £ll 15s; medium dairy cows, £7; medium heifers in milk, £6 10s to £7; 2-year service bulls, £8 5s to £0 15s. Medium baconers, £4 to £4 8s; lighter, £3 Ils to £3 16s; good store pigs, £2 18s to £3 3s. Fat wethers, 24s 6d to 255.
