COROMANDEL WELCOMES HOME
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —It is high time that someone suggested to a great number of men and women in Coromandel that their absence from official “welcomes home” tendered to men on furlough is. commented on—and most unfavourably, by all right-thinking people. Surely, the least anyone can do is to attend 1 and show by their presence that they are grateful and appreciate all that that particular soldier is doing. He is in the battle for residents of Coromandel, old, young and middleaged and this letter is written to point out their duty to such men.—l am, etc., NUFF SED. Coromandel.
