Coromandel Soldier Wounded Advice has been received by Mrs Z. E. Annesley-Smith of Coromandel that he husband, Lance-Bombardier C. Annesley-Smith has been wounded in action. Lance-Bombardier Smith was born and educated in Morrinsville and was employed in the Coromandel branch of the Bank of New Zealand. Adult Education Group
On Tuesday, October 5. the Whitianga • Adult Education Group re-com-menced its discussion course with the subject, “After The War, What?” a discussion of some of the problems of reconstruction, by H. Belshaw, Professor 'of Economics, Auckland University College. The first lecture of the course proved an interesting one. Mr S. Tucker was re-elected leader of the discussion group.
