COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS ANCHORING PROHIBITED Shipmasters and the public generally are warned that anchoring of any type of vessel is prohibited in the Waihou River between signs erected on both banks of the River near the old Puriri Wharf, on upstream and downstream sides of the Water Supply pipeline crossing the Waihou River.
