KEREPEEHI BALL
SUCCESSFUL EVENING FUNCTION WELL ATTENDED BASKETBALL CLUB ENTERTAINS There was a large attendance at the Kerepeehi Hall on Thursday evening when the Kerepeehi Basketball Club ran a very successful ball. Music was supplied by the Collegians’ Orchestra from Thames. Mr Cole acted as M.C. Extras were supplied by Mrs P. Innis.
Cards were won by Mrs Te Whata and Mr P. G. Pearce. Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss N. Stansell and partner and Mrs Yeager and M. Conner. A most enjoyable evening was brought to a close with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” and “God Save The King.” Among those present were:— Mesdames J. E. Smith, A. Fisher, A. Murray, Te Whata, A. ~L.
