DISTINGUISHED PRIVATE W. H. HINCHCO COROMANDEL BOY MENTIONED For distinguished service while a member of the 24th. Auckland Battalion of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, Pte. W. A. Hinchco of Coromandel has been mentioned in dispatches. Pte. Hinchco is the second youngest son of Mr and the late Mrs J. Hinchco of Coromandel and was born and educated in that town. Mr J. Hinchco has ‘received from his son the following advice from the Secretary of State for War:— 24071 Private W. A. Hinchco, 24th. Auckland Battalion N.Z. Military Forces was published in the London Gazette on June 30, 1942, as mentioned in a dispatch for distinguished •service. I am charged to record His Majesty’s High appreciation, • P. J.
