DRAINS AND BRIDGES
BOARD AND COUNTY TO CONFER COUNTY COUNCIL DECISION A brief discussion upon instances! where the county’s . attention to bridges might affect drains controlled by the drainage board took place at the June meeting of the Piako County Council. The chairman said that he had been asked to confer with members of the drainage board and with the engineer had done so. Their request was that when the county contemplated, any alterations to bridges, it should let the drainage board know so that consideration could also be given to any possible effects on the functioning of drains and waterways. It was decided that this should be agreed to.
