Nest Built Round Trap
Mice, not less than men, may on occasion make errors of judgment. Recently a Christchurch resident, in cleaning out an empty cupboard long but of use. found in it a mouse's nest. This nest was made of the materials normally used by a mouse—tiny scraps of paper, bits of fluff, and a few wood shavings. But the centrepiece of the nest was unusual—it was a mousetrap. The home had been built round and on top of the trap, the metal parts of which were barely concealed by the upholstery contrived 'by tfie house. There was no evidence that any family of mice had been produced there. If that had happened the lives would not have been in immediate danger. The trap was not set.
