DANCING CLASS POPULAR LOYAL JUBILEE LODGE OFFICERS FOR ODDFELLOWS (From the Ohinemuri Gazette of June 28, 1903.) On Wednesday night, despite the rain which fell, the Choral Hall, Wharf street, was packed, the occasion being the second open night of Mrs .Sanderson and Miss Milgrew’s dancing class. • The music was rendered by Miss Capill, Miss Pugh, and Mr Mettam in their usual excellent manner, while the floor was in really tiptop order for dancing. Extras were played by the Misses Wilson, Barrett, Grayden and McGeehan. At about 10.30 a very nice supper' was handed round, after which dancing was resumed, and kept up merrily until one o’clock. Mr Finley made an efficient M.C. The Oddfellows’ (Loyal Jubilee Lodge) meeting on Monday night was well attended, and a good deal of routine business was transacted. The election of the officers resulted as follows: — N.G., Bro. D. Miller; V.G., Bro. Hamilton; E.S., Bro. J. Forrest; P.S., Bro. J. Reid; L.M., Bro. G. . Forsyth. The installation of officers is to take place on Monday week next, and it is expected that all the District Officers will be present.
