PLEASE DON’T FORGET
PATRIOTIC STREET STALL PRODUCE WANTED FOR FRIDAY Please don’t forget the Patriotic street stall which the members of the Paeroa Croquet Club will hold in Paeroa on Friday next, April 9. All proceeds will go towards the 1943 All Purposes Appeal, of which Paeroa’s quota is £2144.
If you can spare enough sugar to make a cake for the stall your generosity will be greatly appreciated, while all gardeners who can gpare any lettuce, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbages, swedes, pumpkins, etc., are appealed to to donate same to the stall.
jams, pickles, fruit, cakes, in fact anything which can be sold is wanted and residents of both town and country are urged to give all they can to the stall and to further support it by purchasing generously of the many good things which will be offered for sale.
