NOMINATION OF OFFICERS NO ELECTION NECESSARY • ' Nominations for office in the Thames Trotting Club have been received as follows: — f( President? Mr W. B. Teasdale; vice-presidents '(four vacancies), Messrs D. Mackay, E. J. McLoughlin and R. M. Rhodes; stewards (12 vacancies), Messrs C. J. McPike, J. Casey, H. E. Harden, G. G. Smith, A. McConnell, A. Currie and E. J. Tizard; committee (four vacancies), Messrs E. -Elliot, H .G. Murray, A. E. Rabbidge and H. A. Vollemaere. As the nominations are not in excess of the number required, an election will not bo necessary. The annual meeting of the club is set down for Wednesday, October 28.
