HORSE INJURED
JUMPED FROM TRAILER FLOAT
DISLOCATION OF RACE TRAFFIC
Minor dislocation of race traffic was caused to homeward bound cars after the Thames Jockey Club’s races at Paeroa on .Saturday when a horse that was being conveyed by a trailer float took fright when the car towing the trailer stopped suddenly at the Normanby road, Arney street intersection.
The animal in its struggle to escape from the float was cut rather severely and had to be left in a nearby paddock. Traffic had to be diverted down a side street.
