PUBLIC TRUST
STATEMENT FOR JUNE 110,326 WILLS NOW HELD Estates of a value of £532,442 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of June, 1942'. The total value of the estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31,' 1942, was £64,685,685, and the new business for the three months ended June 30 1 was £1,468,258. Grants of administration made by the court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 227 for the month.
During the month 1192 new wills appointing the Public Trustee fixecu,or were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 400 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 116,326.
