PAEROA WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

MONTHLY MEETING HELD

The monthly meeting of the Paeroa Women’s Institute was held in the Civic Hall, Paeroa, on Tuesday, June 16. The vice-president, Mrs F. Marsh, occupied the chair in the absence of the president, Mrs R. Short, who is in the Thames Hospital owing to a severe illness.

The kindly and sympathetic remarks of the vice-president expressed the feelings of the meeting toward theii’ president. Business was then satisfactorily dealt with and new members welcomed.

The growing number of entrants for the monthly competitions is very gratifying.
