AN URGENT JOB
WAITAKARURU STREAM CANAL £2ooo'’ON THE ESTIMATES Commenting on the Estimates of £2o'oo oh ' account for the enlargement of the Waitakaruru stream canal in the House of Representatives recently Mr A. >S. Sutherland, MJP. for Hauraki, said that he hoped the department would not lose any time in spending the money. The job .was one which should be done urgently to do away with the flooding of the canal.
