Sir, —I wish to ask the executive of the Coromandel Returned Services Association the following questions and would be grateful if they would reply through these columns.
1. It is stated that the annual income of the association does not exceed £l5 per year. Is this correct ? 2. What honorarium does the secretary receive ? Is it correct that he receives £lO 10s each year? 3. What are the objects of the association? Nine meetings held dux'--ing the year?
4. It is stated that the executive is buying an old building for recreation purposes. Is this correct?
5. What price is it proposed to pay for the building? Awaiting the executive’s reply.— I am, e tc., IN -THE ABSENCE.
