- A letter from the Public Works Department regarding the quarry at Tairua was held over at the last meeting of the Coromandel County Council, pending the chairman, as highways representative, seeing if the board would agree to the handing back of the Coroglen-Tairua' highway to the council for maintenance purposes, with a view to reducing the cost to this council.
