NO LATE SHOPPING NIGHT

To The Editor Sir, —I notice in the daily papers that we have not far from Paeroa a town, “Morrinsville,” which has. made a contribution of importance to the war effort in that they have closed their shops at 6 p.m. on Friday nights. This means that less electricity is required, in turn releasing the pressure on our already overworked, hydro-electric power plants.

This is a matter to which all business men in New Zealand should give immediate attention.—l am, etc.,

WILLING TO 'SHOP IN DAYLIGHT. Paeroa, 267'6/52.
