OLD PUPILS’ BALL

NGATEA DISTRICT HIGH

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION

The • Ngatea District High School Old Pupils’ Association held their annual ball in the Ngatea Public Hall on Thursday evening of last week. An energetic committee had catered for the enjoyment of all who were present and the many old pupils who are serving with the different forces, were not forgotten by those who yet remain.

Good music was supplied by the Ngatea Dance Dand, and Mr Doug: Johnson played an extra. A statue waltz which created a good deal of amusement, was won by Miss Nancy Darlington and Mr Clark, while Miss Rita Law and Mr Len O’Neil proved to be the winners l of the Monte Carlo prizes. Mr Mclndoe judged Miss Isobel Hodgson and Mr Terry O’Donnell to be the best competitors in a maxina contest.
