ELECTRICITY CONTROL qrder, 1942 Pursuant to the Electricity Emergency Regulations, it is hereby ordered that: NO PERSON shall use any electric radiator or other electric space-heating appliance or equipment between the hours of 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in the afternoon, during the months of May, June, July and August. in each year, on any day excepting Sunday. THIS ORDER shall apply to all Shops, Offices, Factories, Warehouses, Halls, Theatres and other places of amusement. In the event of any person found using radiators between these periods, by any of the board’s authorised agents, the penalty will be total’ disconnection of the supply. A special appeal is also made to all householders to restrict the use of any electrical radiators between the hours of 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in the afternoon, during the months of May to August inclusive,. in each year.
