AUCKLAND RACING CLUB
GREAT NORTHERN MEETING
Splendid acceptances have been received for the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s Winter Meeting at Ellerslie to-morrow.
With 70 in the Jervois Handicap, it will be divided into two separate races and provision made for two divisions in each. Divisions will also be arranged for the Cornwall Handicap and Members’ Handicap. Horses likely to be fancied are as under: — Greenlane Steeplechase.—Sun Boy, Brandon Hall, Night Hawk. First Jervois Handicap.—First Division: Marble Fox, Sir Dingle, Skydonna. Second division: Hunting Princess, Lowry Hay, Gay Lally. Second Jervois Handicap.—First Division: Water Vixen, Prince Rewa, Silver Note. Second Division: Borak, Willie Pay, 'Rara Avis. Grand National Hurdles. —Kanui Te Pai, Engagement, Calibri. Cornwall Handicap.—First Division: Foxsen, Young Paddon, Greek Queen. Second Division: Arctic Dawn, Radiant Vaals, Foxola. Grand National Steeplechase.— Conflagration, Clansman, Dozie Boy.
