ALL PURPOSES APPEAL HALF OF QUOTA RAISED COLLECTIONS DURING APRIL “During the period under review £757 7s 7d was received, making a total of £1548 10s 4d credited to the 1942 All-Purposes Appeal. Included in these figures is a handsome donation of £250 made by the Ohinemuri Jockey Club,” reported the secretary, Mr R. S. Nicol, to Monday night’s meeting of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee. The following statement shows the amount received, from each area:— Quota Am’ntrec’d

“On April 24 the Ladies’ Patriotic Committee held a street stall and raised £53 3s lOd. Your committee wishes to thank all the ladies who are assisting in this branch of patriotic work.

“Included in the above figures are donations received in connection with the following:—
