PLAINS WATER ACCOUNTS INTEREST ACCOUNTS SOLID “The West Water Supply account is substantially in credit, and the East Water Supply Account, although still in debit, has reduced its deficit by £B5. during the year and this now stands at £llO 18s lid,” reported the clerk, Mi* E. A. Mahoney, to the monthly meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council in reviewing the financial position of the council.
“Interest accounts are all in a solid financial position and now that a reserve has been created in the Conversion No. 1 and East Water Loans Interest Accounts, the special rate for each may be relaxed.”
