At the annual meeting of the Northern Thames -Sub-Province of the Farmers’ Union, Mr Minifie (Coroglen), brought a remit from his ■branch, that the Government be asked to introduce legislation preventing merchants from advertising in their catalogues noxious weeds, such as foxglove. This was agreed to.
