The engagement is announced and the marriage will shortly take place, between George Alfred Furby, of New Plymouth, and formerly of Paeroa, eldest son of Mr and Mrs G. V. Furby of Ashburton, and Eleanor Mary, third daughter of Mrs and the late Mi’ M. H. Hampson, Rokena, Rotorua.
