MESSAGE IN A TIN
KEREPEEHI BOY’S LETTER
IN SYDNEY HARBOUR
RECEIVED BY MOTHER IN N.Z.
A message which had been thrown overboard in a tin, by her son, Gunner W. R. Shilton, was picked up by a Sydney resident recently, Mr L. Ring, of Northwood, Sydney, and forwarded to Mrs James Shilton, of the Ferry, Kerepeehi. Mr Ring, in forwarding the message stated that he had found the tin floating in the Sydney harbour.
