COLOURFUL FIGURE MR J. K. MOLONEY “We are losing one of the most colourful presidents the union has ever had,” said Mr A. E. McPhail at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union the other evening, when making reference to the services to the union of the retiring president, Mr J. K, Moloney, who had been in office for three years. “We hope to see him in a much more important post soon,” added Mr McPhail.
