NETHERTON FARMERS’ VIEWS
“That this union recommend to manpower committees. that where any exemption or postponemen of military service is granted to be conditional on the reservist joining the nearest unit of the Home Guard and completing the minimum hours of training,” was a remit to be sent to the New Zealand Farmers’ Union Conference which was passed at the annual meeting of the Netherton branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union on Thursday night.
