NEW CRICKET RECORD
0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 St. Albans Church Cricket Club, Cheetwood, near Manchester, have set up a new cricket record, against the Western Club at Eccles. Their score sheet read: 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0. Western declared at 154 for seven, and ten St. Albans men were out, and one not out for “ducks.” Only 7 runs, for leg byes and no balls, prevented the team from serving up a complete ducks’ omelette. “I think the less said about it the better,*’ said the vicar of , St. Albans, the Rev. E. A. Glenday, who is president of the club.
