KING OF ITALY
AN AUTHORITY ON COINS. The King of Italy, who must have a lot of spare time in these days, has long been engaged on a monumental work dealing with his country’s coinage. He has recently published part of the 16th volume, bringing his studies up to the year 1700. The volume deals with coins designed for special occasions, and has many beautiful’illustrations. The king’s collections are famous, and he is acknowledged to be one of the greatest authorities on coins.
