USE OF TRAFFICSCOPES
YEAFFISCOPES are the latest road safety device in the United States. This instrument is a hollowed glass prism filled with non-freezing fluid which creates a mechanical “mirage.” It can be used on hill crests, horizontal curves, level crossings and on - top of slow-moving vehicles. When the traffiiscope is in use motorists can see what is coming at normally blind spots. Experiments are being carried out with the device by the Highways Commissioner of Minnesota.
